Student Services

Student Services is your central point of contact for support, guidance, and student advocacy across the British University in Egypt. We help you navigate university processes, access the right support, and ensure your concerns and feedback are heard and addressed.

How We Support You

Referrals & Service Coordination, We connect you with the appropriate university services, including academic support, wellbeing services, financial matters, accommodation, and other specialist support.

Student Counselling & Wellbeing, Confidential support to help you manage personal, emotional, and academic challenges and maintain a healthy university life.

Disability & Learning Difficulties Support (DSLD), Specialist assistance and reasonable adjustments to ensure equal access to learning and university services.

Student Voice & Feedback, We listen to your ideas, concerns, and suggestions and help raise them through the appropriate university channels.

Complaints Monitoring & Support, Guidance and follow-up throughout formal complaint procedures to ensure fairness, clarity, and transparency.

Policies and Procedures

Student Counselling

We understand that sometimes when facing problems it can be helpful to talk about with someone. We can help to arrange short term, holistic, counselling sessions that are confidential and free of charge

Student Wellbeing

The student wellbeing services offer a range of advice & guidance on adjusting to University Life, personal wellbeing, general healthy living and other ways you can start to be aware of both your mental and physical health.

Disability & Specific Learning Difficulty Support

The BUE Disability and Specific Learning Difficulties (DSLD) services support current and prospective students with disabilities or SpLDs through free, confidential advice, Reasonable Adjustments, and study support. The service also provides guidance to staff on inclusive teaching practices.
