On the path of implementing the “students’ centered learning approach”, the Faculty of Law is preparing the first simulation of the United Nations Security Council as a part of the curriculum of the “International Organisations” module. The simulation will mainly be held through two phases. The first phase consists of three tutorials preparing the delegates for the second phase by explaining the rules and procedures of the Council and some debating tips. The second phase then which is the simulation itself will be held on Thursday 24th of November 2016. Based on their performance during the mini simulation, a final list of students will be chosen to participate in the simulation, which will be held on Thursday, 24th of November 2016, and will last not less than 5 hours ending by a voting on superlatives. The simulation aims at enhancing the students’ team-working skills, presentation, and practical experience related to international relations and the current international situation.
