Dr. Sherif Elatafy is a Lecturer at Ain Shams University, Faculty of Law. He graduated from the Faculty of Law (French Section), Ain Shams University, in 2009. After completing his Master’s degree in Business law from Université Lyon III Jean-Moulin, Lyon in 2010, he joined Hafez advocates law firm where he handled several arbitration cases. He pursued a post-graduate studies in common law jurisdictions by completing, in 2015, his L.L.M degree at Duke University School of Law, Durham, North Carolina, where he simultaneously worked as a research assistant. Dr. Elatafy has also obtained, in 2016, his Doctor of Law on the “Liability of Arbitral Institutions” from Université Lyon III Jean-Moulin, Lyon, France, where he simultaneously worked as a teaching assistant. Currently, he is licensed attorney at the New York bar.
