The British University in Egypt (BUE) is now officially a licensee of LinguaSkill under a signed protocol with Cambridge Assessment English, an affiliation of Cambridge University. LinguaSkill is an online remote assessment provided by Cambridge Assessments represented by the Egyptian Bank Institute (EBI).
The signing of the protocol was attended by the Chair of the Board of Trustees Mrs Farida Khamis, Prof. Yehia Bahei-El-Din Acting President for The British University in Egypt (BUE), Prof. Leslie Croxford, Vice President for Teaching and Learning, Mr Abdelaziz Noseir – EBI’s Chief Executive Officer and Prof Shadia Fahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Mrs Farida Khamis expressed her support for the international partnership and the university’s commitment to meeting international standards in assessment. Prof Bahei-El-Din equally stressed the importance of enriching the learner experience by continuing to adopt excellence in teaching and learning and seek to embrace the worldwide developments sought by high ranking academic institutions.
Prof Fahim on behalf of the BUE had initiated the partnership with Cambridge Assessment English and coordinated the dissemination of LinguaSkill on campus. Accordingly, the BUE has become a listed member of the Cambridge English Higher Education Consortium (HEC).
