The British University in Egypt (BUE) held its first-ever Foundation Year Exhibition that showcased art pieces from the new departments within the Faculty of Arts and Design under the auspices of Professor Hassan Metwally Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design.
The exhibition was held on February 9th with the attendance of President and Vice-Chancellor Mohamed Loutfi, who gave a speech expressing his excitement for the work of our students and young creative thinkers.
The event was also attended by Professor Yehia Bahei-El-Din, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President for Research and Enterprise, Professor Hassan Metwally, Dr. Ragia Belal, Dr. Asmaa Elnawawy, Dr. Ghada Amin, Dr. Sian Mooney, Dr. Keith Roberts, Dr. George Morcos, Dr. James Green, Mr. Walid Bekheet, and Mr. Mohamed Sharaf.
Our students showcased their innovative creations in different fields and modules such as Portrait and Figure Drawing, Geometric Perspective, Furniture History, Textile Design, Portraiture Photography, and much more.
The Faculty of Arts and Design was able to demonstrate the high level of educational excellence and teaching quality through the outstanding work of our students, ultimately transforming this exhibition into a beacon of artistic innovation that grabs the attention of potential students and cements the BUE as the go-to Egyptian artistic and creative educational hub.
