The British University in Egypt (BUE) is proud to announce that two of its students, Feras El Shawarby and Mohamed Sakr, were selected by the Training Department in the League of Arab States (LAS) to participate in the seminar hosted in the Book Fair on Friday, 1st of February, 2019. The seminar aimed to present the Training Department’s cooperation with youth and their experience in the summer internship programme at LAS, as well as highlighting their initiatives, particularly the League of Arab States Integrated Model (LASIM) and the “Arab Youth Forum I”.
El Shawarby and Sakr are Degree Year two Political Science students from the Faculty of Business Administration, Economic and Political Science. They contributed to the seminar as former interns at LAS headquarters, participants of the “Arab Youth Forum I”, and current President and Vice President of LASIM at the BUE.
Sakr gave a speech about his experience as a moderator of the youth forum’s economic session. Moreover, El Shawarby gave a talk about the development of LASIM and its efforts in promoting cooperation between youth and LAS.
