On Sunday 28th of November, 2021 The British University in Egypt (BUE), Business Administration Department hosted a book signing event with it’s Alumni Abdalla Nasr, author of “The Corporate” number one bestselling book on Amazon.
The event was attended by Professor Wadouda Badran, Dean of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science, Professor Hadia Fakherldin, Vice Dean for Teaching and learning, faculty staff members and our students who were all anxious to get their book signed by Abdalla.
Nothing was more inspiring for our students than to hear Abdalla’s presentation to share his experience on how to thrive in a competitive talent market.
In light of this occasion, Mrs Farida Khamis, the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the BUE and Professor Mohamed Loutfi BUE President and Vice-Chancellor welcomed Abdalla to congratulate him on his accomplishments. Abdalla Nasr is a 2011 BUE Business Administration graduate. He worked in several countries in the Middle East, Europe, the US, Asia Pacific, and East Africa and held senior positions in talent acquisition, talent development, and regional HR posts. Now, Abdalla is managing HR in the Middle East & Turkey based in Dubai. Abdalla has published an international best-selling book, The Corporate, that helps employees solve the most complex career challenges in a globally competitive talent market and reach their highest potential in the top multinational organizations. Abdalla has interviewed CEOs and VPs from leading multinational organizations to share their views on defining talents. Most importantly, how anyone can use this information to thrive in the corporate world.
