Dr. Mustafa Khedewi

Dr. Mustafa Khedewi is an Assistant Professor of Law and Politics. He has an extensive interdisciplinary teaching experience in the universities of the United Kingdom and Egypt, with a manifold of research and teaching interests, including Politics & International Relations, Business Law, International Law, Democratization, and Islamic political-legal thought.

In 2018, Dr Khedewi has been accredited as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the United Kingdom.

In 2021, Dr Khedewi has won the Early Career Development Prize offered by the British Association for Middle Eastern Studies (BRISMES).

In addition to his academic work, Dr Khedewi serves as a consultant to Al-Azhar and international think tanks. He also acts as a Peer Reviewer for the Manchester Journal of Transnational Islamic Law and Practice.
