Dr. Rasha Mohamed Nasseem Elbolok

Dr. Rasha Elbolok is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. She was a Ph.D. Visiting-Scholar at Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD, USA, and a Post-Doctoral research fellow at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA.

Dr. Elbolok has published her research in International Academic Journals such as Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance & Research Journal of Finance and Accounting. Moreover, she has presented her papers in top academic accounting conferences such as American Accounting Association Conference, Temple Conference on Convergence of Financial and Managerial Accounting, USA and Cairo University International Conference of Business Science, Egypt. Dr. Elbolok research interests include Earnings Management, Corporate Governance, Fair Value Accounting, Executive Compensation, Conservatism, and Financial Reporting.

Dr. Rasha recently Joined the BUE, currently involved in the teaching of Advanced Accounting and Fundamental Accounting Principles.

Dr. Rasha holds a PhD in Accounting from Morgan State University and Suez Canal University (Joint Supervision Program), MSc in Accounting and BSc (highest honors, Major Accounting) from Suez Canal University.
