Nada Elbarkouky is an expert in Digital Transformation, in the area of Supply Chain Management for 14+ years. Nada holds double functions along her years of experience where she combines both hands-on experience besides Academia, through many jobs, consultations as well as classes.
Nada is a lecturer of Information systems’ modules at the BUE, prior to this position Nada was the Business Development Director, at the Ministry of Transport (MOT) Egypt. Nada is a Consultant for (Business processing re-engineering, Enterprise Restructuring, and applications’ consultations for SCM, ERP, and CRM systems).
Nada is an elected member of the chartered institute of Logistics and Transport, U.K. Moreover, she is a board member of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLaT) council.
At MOT Nada was responsible for building up an institutional framework for logistics affairs by introducing a comprehensive Masterplan for logistics in Egypt, which targeted developing Egypt’s rank, and performance in Logistics affairs, and this masterplan was submitted to H.E the President. Moreover, she participated in building a Strategic plan for Transport in Egypt, in all sectors (Maritime Transport, Railways, Road, and Inland Water Transport). She was a member in the Intelligent Transport Systems Committee (ITS) which targeted developing land transport across Egypt via integrated systems.
Before Joining MOT, Nada was a Consultant for PIL Egypt - a Singaporean shipping line Company operating in Egypt.
Prior to PIL, Nada was responsible for the Business Development at DB Schenker, Egypt, her field of experience included, Transportation, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Applications’ Implementations Including (CRM, and ERP).
On the Academia side, prior joining BUE Nada was a Lecturer of Supply Chain Management in the MBA Program at different schools in Egypt. Over and Above, she was a Supply Chain Lecturer, in the American University in Cairo (AUC).
Nada conducted two PhD’s, First at Ain Shams University, School of Business, production management Section. Second, is PhD in School of Business, specialization in Logistics, University of Huddersfield, U.K.
Nada has presented Egypt in so many conferences; she also published so many publications in the field of digital Transformation, in the U.K., USA, and Spain.
