Academic Success Coaching

Through one to one coaching sessions students are guided to:

  • Set clear, positive goals related to their academic achievement
  • Assess the reality of the challenges they are facing,
  • Explore options for reaching their goals,
  • Explore available resources and support networks,
  • Agree on committing to next steps.

The sessions rely on goal-setting, self-assessment, strategy-adjustment, and reflection.

1:1 Short-term Study-Skills Guidance sessions

In addition to the Academic Success Skills Resource Bank, we offer one-to-one and group study skills guidance sessions. If you feel you need further support with one of the below essential skills, feel free to schedule a 30-minute meeting with our academic success advisor. They will be happy to offer you further support with any of the below skills:

I had struggles with studying, I felt like I was barely retaining information and it felt like too much work... after seeking the advisor's help, I found studying for finals much less stressful and I got into my exams feeling less stressed.
