London South Bank University (LSBU) and The British University in Egypt (BUE) are delighted to announce their in principle agreement to form a major new partnership in British-Egyptian Higher Education, Research and Enterprise. This will include validation of graduate and undergraduate programmes in Business, Economics, and Political Science and the new programme in Mass Communication, together with those in Engineering and Informatics and Computer Science, for students joining the BUE from September 2014 onwards, as well as for those entering its new programme in Construction Engineering and Management.
Qualified Students, of both institutions, might be eligible for study abroad and/or exchange programmes at the partner University. In addition, staff exchanges enhancing teaching and mutual research collaborations between both institutions will be encouraged. A fundamental aspect of the collaboration will be joint international Research and Enterprise projects to address global issues with a strong focus on sustainability, energy and related matters.
